1. Promote the mission and purpose of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) at the University of Notre Dame. More information about SEI can be found by clicking here.

2. Enable professional development opportunities for the SEI graduate students within the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering & Earth Sciences.

3. Facilitate social events for SEI graduate students within the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering & Earth Sciences in order to build a community atmosphere amongst SEI graduate students.

4. Collaborate with the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute Notre Dame Chapter (EERI@UND) in planning outreach activities throughout the Michiana area and professional development events for SEI graduate students.

5. Collaborate with the Notre Dame Student Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) in planning outreach and professional development events.
